Pro adds unlimited replies, autotext expansion, fill-in-the-blank fields, AI Assist, attachments, iCloud sync and sharing a folder by private link.

Yes. Give a reply a short trigger - say omw or addr - and type it on the keyboard’s typing page. When you finish the word it expands into the full reply, right where your cursor is, and any blanks it has are asked for next. Triggers are matched exactly (case doesn’t matter), so an everyday word never expands by accident. The typing keyboard is free; autotext expansion is a Pro feature.

Autotext expansion is part of Pro. On the free tier you can still add a trigger and type it, but instead of expanding you’ll see a prompt to upgrade - there’s no paywall inside the keyboard itself. Browsing and tapping the reply still works on the free tier.

No. Nothing you type on the Fast Reply keyboard is logged, stored or transmitted - not to us, not to anyone. Your replies live on your device rather than our servers, and there is no Fast Reply account for personal use. The only times anything leaves your phone are ones you start yourself: turning on iCloud sync (Pro), which goes to your own iCloud under your Apple ID and never to our servers, or sharing a folder.

Usually it did not turn off. Three separate things get reported this way: a major iOS update resetting the enabled-keyboards list, a secure field (a password or payment box) where iOS blocks every third-party keyboard by design and hands you Apple’s, or the extension being terminated for memory. No. Inserting text works without it. Full Access is only needed for two things: sending images or files from the keyboard, and the {{clipboard}} placeholder. Autotext and fill-in-the-blank fields work with Full Access off. What you type is never logged or transmitted either way.

Text inserts itself; an image or file goes onto your clipboard for you to paste. That one extra tap is an iOS limit, not a choice - a keyboard extension can only hand over one item at a time, so the keyboard shows a brief note and a reply with several attachments tells you how many are left to paste. Sending an image or file needs Full Access; a link inserts inline with the text.

One trip to Settings, once: Settings › General › Keyboard › Keyboards › Add New Keyboard, then pick Fast Reply. After that, tap the globe key in any app to switch to it. The app walks you through it and tells you when it can see the keyboard is installed.
